Bauwerk Limewash - Garance
Garance is a rusty red-brown limewash, inspired by the French term meaning Old Madder, the traditional red dye plant once used to colour textiles.
On the wall, its rich terracotta-red tones create a warm, expressive atmosphere, adding depth and a subtly historic character to the space.
For a darker interpretation, explore Ground. For a slightly lighter tone, consider Henna. For a browner variation, choose Carmin.
Recommendation: use Bauwerk Primer on smooth or low-porosity surfaces.
Coverage: approx. 6 m² per 1 L (2 coats), depending on substrate absorbency.
