Can I really do this myself without a contractor?
Yes. Our materials are designed for self-application. You'll need basic handiness, a few hours, and our PDF guide. We recommend a test patch on a small area before the full application.
What tools will I need?
You'll find all the tools you need in our Tools section — from steel trowels to rollers to sandpaper. The PDF guide for each surface lists exactly what you need.
How long does the application take?
It depends on the area and surface type. The microcement system has 5 layers with curing breaks — plan a weekend for around 10 m². Limewash is faster — you can apply both coats in a single day.
What if I mess up?
Most mistakes can be fixed by sanding and applying another coat. We recommend starting in a less visible area (hallway, utility room) or doing a test sample first. For bigger issues, we're happy to advise.
Can I use Microcement epix+ in a bathroom?
Yes. Microcement epix+ is water-resistant after the final two-component sealer is applied. It works for showers, bathrooms, kitchens, and other wet areas.
Can I use limewash on a ceiling or in a bathroom?
Limewash is ideal for ceilings and walls in dry interiors. We don't recommend it for wet areas (bathrooms, showers) — use Microcement epix+ for those instead.
How long does the surface last?
With proper application and normal use, decades. Microcement is abrasion-resistant and washable; limewash is UV-stable and breathable. Maintenance is minimal — minor damage can be repaired locally.
How quickly will my order arrive?
We stock materials in Czechia and ship within 14 days of ordering. For larger orders (over 50 m²), we'll contact you in advance to confirm timing.
